Issue 76 Bio recipients Matthias Dandois & Dave

After a hectic week I finally finished up the editing on Issue 76. Check out the new trailer here. It's now off to the replicators and will be hitting the shelves in a couple weeks. You can pre-order it here, or hit up your local shop when they get them. I'm pretty stoked on this Issue, it's chalked full of awesome segments, two of which are the Dave Thompson and Matthias Dandois Bios.

If you're not familiar with Verde's Dave Thompson you will be very shortly. I wouldn't wish the task of being the next Bio in line after Garrett Reynolds on my worst enemy, but Dave not only steps up to the task - he delivers the goods. In between injuries and conflicting schedules, we've been shooting this Bio on and off for the better part of the last 9 months. Dave really puts it together and gives you the best of both worlds, not only doing some of the scariest stuff I've filmed in a while, but also incorporating precise rail rides and other technical goodies into his bag of tricks. Dave's mind and attitude are out of this world, if you ever get the chance to meet him you'll see exactly what I'm talking about. I'd like to take this time to thank Dave for all the hard work he put into this project, and I'm really psyched on the end result. Job well done Dave. The second Bio recipient in Issue 76 is Matthias Dandois. Matthias is pretty much at the top of the flatland game, and this Bio will prove why. I've been riding BMX for over twenty years and I can't even begin to explain what this dude is doing on his bike. Matthias is quickly gaining the respect not just the flat community, but of the whole BMX world. Matthais filmed this Bio during his two week Austin winter getaway (along with picking up a sponsorship from Odyssey), and managed to pull a bunch of new combos he had never done before. Prepare to say plenty of WTF's while watching this Bio, I know I sure did while filming & editing it.
